Spring fishing is here!

Winter is coming to the end in the Flathead valley and here at G3 Outfitters we have been getting on Flathead Lake as early as we can to stay on the fish as they transition into their early spring movements. Fishing the Flathead river delta has been productive with good numbers of fish and decent size too. The biggest this day was just under slot (30") with a few others that hopped off right at the boat. Just like any year during the spring, the winds from the south can make it a little more difficult to stay in position but we were able to keep on the fish through the morning and the winds - the only boat

out doing so!

Whitefish lake is still frozen but looks to be unlocking any day now with warmer temps and spring rains falling.
